Mindy & Tygh // Log House Gardens // Keizer, Oregon // July 2015
You were the BEST part of this whole experience. None of this could have happened without you and I am SO thankful that you were there to guide the way and bounce ideas off of…” -Mindy (bride)
Mindy & Tygh, what a sweet couple! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mindy planning her dream wedding for a year! After our first meeting at a coffee shop in Corvallis in June 2014, we clicked, and the planning begun! Mindy & Tygh had a vision of their wedding including bright summer colors, a fun atmosphere to reflect their love, family friendly and of course good food and booze!
After a month of venue searching the couple decided on Log House Gardens in Keizer – a convenient middle location for both families. The grounds are immaculately manicured with bright blooming flowers which was perfect for Mindy’s love of color! After several other meetings, typically over a bottle of wine, which Mindy was always too kind to provide, the rest of the planning all came together!
The bridesmaids wore turquoise dresses with yellow sashes. The groomsmen wore gray suits with yellow ties. Mindy wore turquoise sneakers, then later changed into a different dress (she had 3!) with turquoise cowboy boots! The aisle was lined with lemons which we also used throughout the reception site on the tables. Guests used turquoise chevron napkins and drank from mason jars with coral straws. There were lawn games, dancing, mad libs, playing card favors and the groom tossing a football with the garter attached! Their getaway car was a vintage Cadillac with decorated tin cans tied behind. Fun was a theme! The couple also rented several items from our inventory including chalkboard sandwich boards, cornhole, runners, teal mason jars and vases, our cake crate and shabby chalkboard table. I also had the pleasure of making their wedding programs which were fans in anticipation for a hot summer day.
Mindy & Tygh’s fun loving demeanor and spunkiness is hard to mistake and their wedding really reflected their personalities. There was so much laughter and silliness the entire day, and tears of sincere emotion and love. Both families were extremely sweet and wanted to do whatever necessary to help make Mindy & Tygh’s day the best it possibly could be, which I’m pretty sure was perfect! I’m so happy that ae creative had the opportunity to be apart of their special day. I’m happy to now call Mindy a friend, and I wish both Mindy & Tygh great love and happiness together forever!
