Hello. This is about Bree
Hey guys! I’m Bree and I live in Bend with my husband and two dogs. We recently married in June, 2016, and I fell in love with wedding planning! I actually felt a little down after the wedding, because I so badly missed the planning. While my other married friends were saying that was the one thing they didn’t miss, I thought, “I do miss it.” That passion for wedding planning brought me to ae creative.
Alongside working with ae creative, I work at my husband’s digital marketing company. Since August of 2014, I write content, curate social media posts, and design marketing campaigns for our clients. I love working with my husband, because I’ve learned so much, and it’s helped me express my more creative side, as well as indulge in my love of writing. Before I worked with my husband, I graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelors in Psychology and worked in the mental health field for a few years. My life and jobs have taken me many places, and I feel very blessed to have experienced so many different facets of life.
When I’m not working, one of my biggest obsessions is natural living. Almost three years ago, I started on a quest for better health that turned into a complete lifestyle change. I changed my diet, purged my house of chemicals, sought out zero waste alternatives, and started a blog detailing my journey. Building my blog allowed me to feed my creativity, by writing, taking and editing photos, and designing my own website. Needless to say, I am now, proudly, very crunchy, and I think that fits in perfectly with the Bend lifestyle!
Other than my inclination toward the creative, I am also extremely organized and methodical. For example, when I was eight years old, I was at a sleepover and while all of the girls fell asleep, I stayed up all night cleaning and organizing my friend’s room. While she wasn’t that pleased with me, I thought I did a great job on her room! Organizing and completing tasks are some of my favorite things to do. In fact, to de-stress I organize the drawers in my house. Ok, you may think I’m crazy, but it works for me! Being able to multitask and remain organized are very important when handling such a special day. Your wedding is something you will never forget and getting the right people to help you allows you to enjoy the process and your big day without feeling overwhelmed.
With all of the experiences I’ve had in my life, I am very excited to enter the world of weddings. It’s such a special day, full of love for an entire family, and to see even a glimpse of that is truly inspiring.
